Recitals

We have two recitals a season; Winter Recital in December and our Big Recital is in June. 

Winter Recital

You must be registered in a recital class at least eight weeks prior to recital to participate in the Winter Recital. This allows adequate time to learn a routine.

Dancers in the Winter Recital will wear DCS themed shirts (cost to be announced prior to recital) along with black dance pants and their required class shoes.

Ticket sales will be announced prior to Recital and are required for everyone attending (including infants and small children). Dancers do not require a ticket. Location, date, and time of recital will be announced prior to Recital.

The Big June Recital

Our June Recital is the BIG SHOW!

You must be registered in a recital class in order to participate in the June Recital. This allows adequate time to learn a routine and order costumes. 

All dancers will be wearing a teacher selected costume. Costumes are announced in December and photos with prices are posted in the studio. Deposits for costumes are due in December and final payment due in January. If you sign up between January and April 1st, full payment of costume is due upon registration. If a costume is NOT purchased timely, the dancer will not be able to remain in the class past April 1st. We do offer non-recital classes beginning April 1st for those not wishing to participate in the recital. 

We offer a Picture Day where dancers dress in their costumes and pose with their class and can take individual or "buddy" photos as well. Picture Day date and times will be announced prior to Picture Day.
